The staff is very friendly and helpful they even Heaven help me set up the room for my wife's birthday an amazing Jacuzzi room almost wanted to throw a party in it but she asked for private time
I stayed here for 4 weeks, and was very happy with it. The room was clean, ac was great, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. It fit my needs perfectly. They have done some renovating, and the room was large and comfortable.
Never had an issue at this motel. I go to union on business and needed a hotel close to companies facility. Small and comfortable. Great people in the office. Never no issues. Been going here for years.
For a small place and low key it wasnt bad, room was very clean and nice walls. The ac and heat worked perfectly and actually smelled good.
Update: I decided to continue to stay here, because you can not beat the price. The towels and wash cloths are always fresh (which is a major plus), I still use my own but from time to time I'll use theirs. The man running this motel is very accommodating and when u express your concerns he try his hardest to meet your needs! Whenever I'm in town this will be my go to motel! Overall I enjoyed staying here. Being close to all the stores, etc is a major plus for me. I decided to give this hotel a chance. I paid for one night at first, but then decided to stay another due to me having to handle business. I was asked if I needed anything each day I stayed and the towels and wash cloths were clean. I bring my own wash cloth and towels tho, just meantioning it for the ones that may want to know. I also travel with cleaning supplies and bed linens, so I can be as comfortable as possible. What I didn't care for is someone in my room. Its like as soon I left out 4:15am to step out for a sec, someone came in. When I first left it seems as if it was a ghost town at the motel (no one was awake). But as I was pulling back in there were a few people lerking. I have anxiety real bad, so that made me very upset and uncomfortable. I normally lock my things up and take what will fit in my tote bag with me. I figured since it was so early I would be able to run to the store and back without my things being tampered with. Ugh. That makes me second guess staying here again. If I do every time, I mean every time I leave I will make sure I lock everything up and leave NOTHING important behind.
Most friendly and kind people best rate in town i stay here for a while now and they allways go out there way make you feel welcomed and at home. I wouldn't stay no were else in union county.

I've been coming to Union weekly for business for almost a year now and stay at the American Inn for several days each week. My room has always been clean. The staff has been nothing but friendly and courteous. The management has made continuous improvements since I started coming here in September of 2015: New A/C unit. new sheets, blankets and bed spreads. Improved lighting and internet connections. Great place for a reasonable rate.
